OXFORD COURT

One of the last washing days in Oxford Court, within a few yards of the teeming traffic of busy London Road. This dreary backwater was only too obvious from its wide entrance at 33 Oxford Street, until its demolition in 1936.
A similar alley, known as Brunswick Court, existed at 25 Oxford Street, until removed by slum clearance.
