A few years later, in the early 1900’s at the corner of Viaduct Road. There are signs of the old Hare & Hounds Inn, so the photograph must date from before 1904. The chief difference at the present day is the disappearance of the large house with walled front garden, then the Brighton & Preston Constitutional Club.
