Photographs of two shops in this mid-Victorian street, not far from Preston Circus. In this photograph, Peter Sired’s watchmaker’s shop, at the corner of New England Road and Elder Street, in the 1950’s. Cleared away prior to the comprehensive redevelopment of this area, in 1958/9.
