Royal Crescent, Brighton.

This is the earliest of the group of houses in Brighton built facing the sea. It was constructed by a West Indian Speculator named J B Otto, between 1799 and 1807. The architect is unknown. The Houses are faced with black mathematical tiles- a special feature, not usually found away from the seaside.
