PRESTON CIRCUS

Two photographs of the tramway era. Above, an interesting group of bystanders watch the strenuous efforts to erect the standard just outside the Hare & Hounds Inn, in London Road, in 1903. Behind them a tram, bound for the Pavilion terminus, enters Viaduct Road, having crossed over from New England Road.
