PRESTON CIRCUS

It is hard to realise that these two photographs were taken within a few yards of each other. The old villa at the corner of London Road and New England Road in 1931. Compare the dilapidated building with the fine house it was seen in a much earlier photograph on another page. As seen the building was within a few years of demolition and was then being used as a branch of Lloyds Bank.
