KINGS ROAD AND REGENCY SQUARE.

This fine clear photograph shows, in detail, the dirty roadway, the narrow north pavement and the wider promenade. It was almost certainly taken in 1880, or within the next two years. The Grand Hotel was there then but cannot be seen, as it lays back behind the Kings Road frontage.
